Private tour of County MayoWhy visit Ireland!

Yes, we may be biased in favour of my home country. You dont have to believe our reasons thou for suggesting you visit Ireland. Here are the top official reasons why tourists from every corner of the world are flocking to this small green island off the coast of Europe.

Firstly its because of the friendly people, yes we like visitors and do we love to talk. The hospitality in Ireland is renowned and a Cead Mile Failte (100,000 welcomes) to all!

Secondly it’s the beautiful scenery, from bogs to mountains, valleys and lakes, green rolling fields and of course the Wild Atlantic way. Ireland has a very varied and interesting topography for its relatively small land mass.

Ireland is a safe and secure destination. We don’t have any earthquakes, tornadoes and tourist crime is very low.

Fourthly, for all ye adventure and culture seekers, Ireland has plenty to see and do. From castles to ancient monuments, hillwalking to music sessions, theatre, pub culture, spas, workshops, outdoor activities, plenty for young and old. Ideal as part of a chauffeur tour of Ireland.

Fifth:  Our range of natural attractions, mountain scenery, fishing, epic sea and cliff views, historic and remarkable archaeological treasures continue to attract.

Reason six: Our interesting history and culture, yes we have been invaded a bunch of times, and our history is littered with war and rebellion. Ireland also has produced superb christian art and metalwork which can be seen in our museums and exhibtions nationwide.

Another huge reason why visitors are travelling here in ever greater numbers is our green environment and relatively unspoilt natural surroundings. Our land and seas produce some of the finest meat, fish and dairy products in the world. Our quality of food in restaurants is excellent. The temperate weather ideal for touring! , combined with favourable sterling and dollar rates have also helped in Irelands tourist boom.

2016 set a record for visitor numbers as 8.6 million people visited these shores!
